Series One: Repeat Offender

Repeat Offender gave each other a real thrashing - a lot of knocks and punches, a healthy level of verbal abuse, food from the dead shop and then a swim in a fluorescent pool.

The five band members played from Joel’s lounge room, where they delivered six of their high-energy rock tunes. And then came the high-energy meal for a stomach of steel.

Matt led the cooking by preparing a communal drink. As Ryan explained, it’s something that brings the band together as they cook.

Amongst the cacophony, Steven took charge of the entrée - guacamole. The avocadoes, although questionable, were still used. A bit of onion and plenty of salt provided a quick fix. And two whole lemons proved to be very helpful.

Dane demonstrated the right way to chop an onion, while Joel tried to keep the house from being wrecked.

The band made their way outside for the BBQ, and the smoke was a little overwhelming. Steven opted for a pair of ladies glasses to protect his eyes as he cooked.

There was meat, meat, meat. Sausages, T-bones, Ribs... and "Meat Pads." Matt carefully seasoned the food with an inordinate amount of pepper. It took a bit of time before the dog would eat it, though. Meat. Salad, anyone?

Who doesn’t love cream buns for dessert? Repeat Offender have the cream bun recipe to beat all cream bun recipes. Steven just loved them.

After a refreshing swim to end the day, we say goodbye to Repeat Offender. Goodbye and good health. It’s a good thing Steven knows how to self-diagnose and Matt knows the difference between Panadol and Ansuol.
